Valette's walk in Manchester city center
Sat 18 February @ 2pm
In English
£6

Born in France, Adolphe Valette was to make his name in Manchester. Valette introduced his own brand of Impressionism to the city in a series of paintings that captured the atmospheric mood of the streets, squares, waterways and buildings, seemingly forever shrouded in fog and pollution.

Organised by Stéphanie. An independent tour revisiting Manchester of a century ago when thriving and industrial, and when the French painter Valette depicted distinctive and atmospheric views of the streets.
