Altrincham French Festival!

Come enjoy French food, French company and French culture at the Altrincham French Festival!

Will the 2016 edition of the French Festival be even more popular than last year’s, which welcomed more than 5 000 people? Show up to find out! There are activities for everyone at the festival, as you can see in the programme below:


Friday 8th July – French Classical Concert at Bowdon Down Church, Altrincham from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets at £10 per person. Performances by a number of local opera singers and musicians.

Saturday 9th July – Carnival Parade in Altrincham Town centre with young people dressed in colourful costumes supported by musicians (midday approx.) Town centre retailers will be organising a range of French themed activities in their stores during the day.
In the evening, a Bastille Celebration party at Bowdon Rugby Club, Altrincham from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets at £30 per person or early bird price of £25 if bought before end of May. Ticket price includes a sit down 3 course French meal, live entertainment and a fireworks display. Fancy dress theme is “masquerade”.

Sunday 10th July – Family Day (Free entry). The event will be held between 9am – 7pm in Stamford Park, Hale, Altrincham. Activities include a Euro 2016 themed girls football tournament, a cycling Sportive, a baking competition, a range of French inspired food and drink stalls plus a 4-hour concert on stage with live music, singing and dancing. Lots of fun for all the family.
