Berlioz’s Roméo et Juliette

Berlioz’s dramatic choral symphony Roméo et Juliette

Our friends at the Hallé Orchestra are pleased to offer discounted tickets to friends of the Alliance Française de Manchester for one of their season highlights, Berlioz’s dramatic choral symphony Roméo et Juliette.

With over 150 musicians and singers on stage, and a cast of international soloists including mezzo-soprano Alice Coote, Roméo et Juliette is considered to be Berlioz’s great masterpiece. Inspired by Shakespeare’s play, the work showcases magnificent orchestration and breath-taking singing from soloists and choirs alike.

The performance will take place at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday 5th October. You can buy tickets worth between £43.50 and £33.50 for only £24 each (including booking fees). Just follow the links at and enter the promo code ROMEO as soon as you reach The Bridgewater Hall booking page; the page will update to the reduced price seating and then you can select your seat. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can book, but all tickets are subject to availability and sold on a first-come-first-served basis. The offer applies to tickets in the top three price zones usually priced at £43.50, £38.50 and £33.50 including fees.

We very much hope you will be able to take up this offer and look forward to seeing you there.
