Book Club #3: "Le rocher de Tanios" by Amin Maalouf

"Le Rocher de Tanios" is a libanese-french novel written by Amin Maalouf and published in 1993 by Grasset.

This book tells the story of a child, Tanios, of unknown father, born in a small Lebanese village called Kfaryabda. As the years go by, he experiences numerous religious and social regimes, from French revolutionary ideas to Anglicanism.

On Monday 21 November, join us at 6.15pm to discuss this book, which won the prestigious Goncourt price in 1993.

*Discussion will be in French - an intermediate level of French (B1/B2) is required.
