La Femme Rompue by Simone de Beauvoir

"La femme rompue" is a collection of short stories written by Simone de Beauvoir and published in 1967 by Gallimard.

The three stories in this book have a common point: they are all about women facing an identity crisis. An elderly lady who has problems with her professional and family life, a broken woman, and a disillusioned housewife are at the centre of this thought-provoking and poignant book, which leads the reader to reflect upon how society and dependency on others can affect us all.

On Monday 12 December, join us at 6.15pm to discuss this book.
