Dr Dalia Mostafa, lecturer in Arabic and Comparative Literature at the University of Manchester, will introduce Leila Abouzeid’s famous book Year of the Elephant: A Moroccan Woman’s Journey toward Independence.

This presentation will end our focus on Maghreb and will complement our photo exhibition by Hicham Benohoud, a Moroccan photographer.

The presentation will be in English, followed by a short discussion with the public.
