Wynford Dewhurst: Practise French through Art

In partnership with our neighbours Manchester Art Gallery, we offer you the opportunity to practise your French through art.

On the 2 and 9 March, we will meet in the foyer of Manchester Art Gallery at 4:30pm to visit the exhibition "Wynford Dewhurst: Manchester’s Monet".

Profoundly influenced by Claude Monet and the Impressionist movement, this Mancunian artist settled in France and found inspiration in the colourful landscapes around the Creuse and Seine rivers.

Juliette, one of our teachers, will present the exhibition in French, giving you the chance to learn some useful phrases to speak about art while you admire the work of the artist and the French landscapes he portrays in his paintings. So do not hesitate to join us for these free visits to gain a different point of view on this beautiful exhibition while learning to describe it in French.
