Beginners/Elementary (A1)

Elementary Practice (A1+) - August

Consolidate

In this course, you will intensively refresh key language notions and topics covered in the Beginner and Elementary levels. It is for you if you are returning to French after a break or need more practice before moving up to an Improvers class. If you are looking for an extra challenge, this class will also help you prepare for the DELF A1 exam.

Pre-requisite: Elementary 2 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.


Pace: Once a week x 3 hours

French Chat (A1/A2) - August

Speak

An informal conversation course, where you will discuss topics such as holidays, weekend activities, food, leisure, house and home etc.

Pre-requisite: Elementary 2 or higher, or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.


Pace: Once a week x 1 hour

Intensive Elem Practice (A1+) - 30/31/01 August/September

Consolidate

In this course, you will intensively refresh key language notions and topics covered in the Beginner and Elementary levels. It is for you if you are returning to French after a break or need more practice before moving up to an Improvers class. If you are looking for an extra challenge, this class will also help you prepare for the DELF A1 exam.

Improvers (A2)

1 Class / 1 Song - August

Discover
In this informal course you will work on your listening, reading, vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking skills while discovering Francophone music and artists. Each one-hour session is independent from the next so each week we keep you entertained and interested with a different topic.

Pre-requisite: Improvers 4 or higher, or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 1 hour

Improvers Conversation (A2+) - August

Speak
This course focuses on speaking and listening practice only, so you can get better at telling a story, describing, talking about personal experiences and discussing plans. Perfect if your speaking skills need a little boost!

Pre-requisite: Improvers 4 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 2 hours

Intensive Improv Practice (A2+) - 06/07/08 September

Consolidate
In this course, you will intensively refresh key language notions and topics covered in the Improvers levels. It is for you if you are returning to French after a break or need more practice before moving up to an Intermediate class. If you are looking for an extra challenge, this class will also help you prepare for the DELF A2 exam.

Current Affairs (B1/B2) - August

Discover

In this course, you will discuss current social, cultural, environmental and political affairs in France and around the world, exploring the context as well as the headlines.

Pre-requisite: Intermediate 4 or higher, or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.


Pace: Once a week x 2 hours

Intermediate Conversation (B1+) - August

Speak

In this course, which is suitable for those who have completed the Intermediate classes or have a similar level, you will practise explaining a problem, complaining, giving reasons for your point of view, and taking part in a debate.

Pre-requisite: Intermediate 4 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.


Pace: Once a week x 2 hours

Intermediate Practice (B1+) - August

Speak
This course will give you the opportunity to discuss and debate various advanced-level topics taken from French, British and international news and other sources. It is a perfect informal way to improve your fluency and extend your vocabulary.

Pre-requisite: Higher 6 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 2 hours

Higher Conversation (B2+) - August

Speak
This course will give you the opportunity to discuss and debate various advanced-level topics taken from French, British and international news and other sources. It is a perfect informal way to improve your fluency and extend your vocabulary.

Pre-requisite: Higher 6 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 1.5 hours

Higher Conversation + Grammar (B2+) - August

Speak
This class consists of one hour of "à la carte" grammar revision and two hours of discussion and debate on various advanced-level topics. A great way to maintain and develop your vocabulary and a good level of fluency without forgetting your grammar.

Pre-requisite: Higher 6 or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 3 hours

Intensive Higher Practice (B2+) - 13/14/15 September

Consolidate

In this course, you will intensively refresh key language notions and topics covered in the Higher levels. It is for you if you are returning to French after a break or need a bit of structured revision before moving on to one of our Higher Conversation classes. If you are looking for an extra challenge, this class will also help you prepare for the DELF B2 exam.

Pre-requisite: Higher 4 or above, or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.


Pace: Three times a week x 5 hours a day
Expertise (C1)

Arts & Culture (C1) - August

Discover
In this course, you will explore the French-speaking cultural landscape through literary works, cinema, the visual arts and music. You will discuss extracts from documents provided by your teacher and explore additional sources such as videos, paintings or musical works, while also learning about contemporary French cultural life.

Pre-requisite: Higher Conversation, Higher Conversation + Grammar, Higher 6, Expertise or level assessment.
Materials: Provided by the teacher.
Pace: Once a week x 1.5 hours
