French MeetUp
An evening of French conversation
At the pub...

... or online
The evening is open to everyone who wants to practise or to speak French, from beginners to native French speakers from
France or any other French-speaking country.
This is an opportunity to meet people and discuss issues in French, but a little bit of franglais is fine if needs be.

LES EXPRESSIONS IDIOMATIQUES - ONLINE MEETING
Idiomatic expressions are an integral part of French culture. The use of these expressions adds variety and enriches the language. They are
a very popular, imaginative, and vivid way to convey a message in French.
Mark, one of our French Meetup participants, will talk about these idioms in an interesting and entertaining way.
The evening is open to anyone who speaks French, from beginners to native speakers. It is a meeting to discuss and meet people in
French.
The meeting begins at 7:30 pm sharp – but the Zoom chat room will be open from 7.10pm. Please do arrive on time. You
must register on the Meet-up site to get the Zoom link.
