Camille, a gifted 12-year-old acrobat, is the eldest of a large family. When her parents join a religious community based on sharing and solidarity the young girl has to accept a way of life that challenges her desire for freedom. Little by little, the community becomes sectarian and Camille is drawn into a fight for her liberty and that of her family.
