Cécile Ducrocq’s debut feature tackles issues around the rights of sex workers in France.
Marie (Laure Calamy) is a sex worker in Strasbourg who is determined that her 17-year-old son will have a better chance in life. When her son’s tuition fees become unaffordable, she begins fighting the oppressive laws in France whilst doing whatever it takes to support her child.
