Sixteen-year-old Paula Bélier (Louane) is an indispensable interpreter for her deaf parents (Karin Viard and François Damiens) and brother on a daily basis, especially in the running of the family farm. One day, a music teacher discovers her gift for singing and encourages Paula to audition for a prestigious music college in Paris. However, this would mean leaving her family... The French movie that inspired American Oscar-winning remake “CODA”.
