Brittany, France. Following the recent deaths of residents from the Breton beaches, a journalist comes to investigate the mystery of the algae that could be behind these tragic events. As evidence is being hidden and threats to her research increase, she realises that some politicians with close ties to major local companies are trying to prevent her from uncovering the shocking truth.
